Agile Delivery Manager

We are urgently looking to hire a highly talented Senior Scrum Master who will play a critical role in the wider team. You will be responsible for ensuring the team lives agile values and principles and follows the processes and practices that the team agreed they would use. The responsibilities of this role include Clearing obstacles, establishing an environment where the team can be effective, and overseeing the scrum and development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enabling the organisation's new way of working, modelling behaviours to support the organisation's transformation to a new way of working and actively creating and maintaining the culture within the team based on Agile leadership behaviours.
  • Working with teams to embed and reinforce practices and behaviours by facilitating sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and other agile ceremonies and providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • Helping your Product Manager to manage and prioritise work through the backlog by reviewing and managing backlog items to ensure the latest work status is captured and updated as appropriate and ensuring work is appropriately balanced across team members and that all work is captured within the backlog.
  • Tracking team output through dashboards and other reporting systems by maintaining and updating team process metrics and artefacts to ensure accurate and transparent communications to the Product Owner, Product Manager and other stakeholders and creating burn-down charts to measure team output over time.
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and best practices to progress the work of the team by engaging with Agile Coaches to help identify and deliver against training needs to support Agile practices and observing and engaging with individual team members to identify opportunities to improve Agile performance.

->Extensive Scrum Master experience in a technology organisation.
->Excellent relationship management, strong influence, and communication skills.
->Experience contributing/implementing Agile Transformations in a large enterprise.
->Experience organizing & running PI planning.
->Experience organizing & running Design Thinking sessions.
->Experience line managing a team of people.
->Evidence of coaching & developing colleges.
->Successful experience on critical/complex product delivery.
->Experience supporting multiple Scrum Teams.
->Multiple industry-recognized Scrum Master/Scaled Agile qualifications (Scrum.Org, Scrum. Inc, Agile Alliance, SAFe etc.)
->Agile community engagement/involvement
->A degree in Technology or Computer Science or a related field is desirable although relevant experience is equally valuable.
->Salary: £45,000-£70,000
